Wally, as I would expect him to say, but these are my words: "At the end of the day, we need to execute better. It is not the coaching. I'll find some player to sacrifice. We will bring in more new guys. We'll look at the tape and go from there."
Out-coached? Nah. We're just going through a bad spell.
Constiptated communication = Coaching.
Constipated thinking = Coaching.
Brain dead team = Coaching.
All that poor coaching = Bad management.
All that bad management and bad coaching = Dumb, stubborn ownership. Fire Braley. We want a new owner. One that can fire some people, starting at the top.

With a record of 16-27 over the past seasons, at which point is the coaching staff going to be held accountable? The actors in this movie have changed, but the director is still the same!

Well, all I can say is I hope JC and Dorazo and Mike b have their resumes found in the office printer tray.
Know the smallest things and the biggest things, the shallowest things and the deepest things. As if it were a straight road mapped out on the ground ... These things cannot be explained in detail. From one thing, know ten thousand things. When you attain the Way of strategy there will not be one thing you cannot see. You must study hard.

Why absolve Wally? He chose these guys. He mentored them. He is loyal to them. He relies on them for Xs and Os.joe kapp22 wrote:Well, all I can say is I hope JC and Dorazo and Mike b have their resumes found in the office printer tray.
If Wally had any other owner in the world, he would be gone. Long ago. Even if Bob Ackles was here, I think Wally would be gone. Long ago.

I disagree about Wally being gone with Ackles still here, Ackles however would have changed some of Wally's moves along the way that would have helped him. However that isn't the case Bob is gone and Wally has to stand alone for what this team is, and it really isn't about the talent, all about the execution that the Lions can never seem to be able to find.WestCoastJoe wrote:Why absolve Wally? Now ONE POINT to show for the Lions work in the 3rd quarter of the last FOUR games combined. This time it was part of nine straight 2 and out possessions. A complete embarrassment.

No input of fresh ideas from outside his own student coaches.
No Xs and Os mastery of his own.
Leaves the motivation to the players themselves.
Shaky personnel decisions.
Shaky game management.

God Bless Bob Ackles. I can only imagine what he is thinking looking down upon this mess.

One thing impresses me there. Travis Lulay had more tackles than Ryan Phillips.WestCoastJoe wrote:Passing CP/AT YDS TD INT
