You can sleep well tonight as the Eagles won
ahh yes, the old reverse posting workedTheLionKing wrote:You can sleep well tonight as the Eagles won
by publically declaring it fact that they would lose, I increased the odds of them winning and effectively making me put my foot in my own mouth.
Worked like a charm, all part of the master plan it was. yup

But that will anger the football gods now that you have declared it was part of your plan all along... Now in effect, they will probably lose in the next round (unless thats what you are hoping for... )by publically declaring it fact that they would lose, I increased the odds of them winning

Well, It does not matter so much if they win now. I mean, they are my first NFC choice, but I be happy with either Seattle or NO as well. In any case, I be routing for AFC now, no matter which team. I just wanted the giants and ELI out of it
Gotta have respect for the Brady and the Pats consistancy. The idea of them winning a 4th in 6 yrs, in this day, is quite appealing.
Payton is my fav NFL player right now and I would love to see him finally get it done.
SD winning would be a great "take that Eli"
Baltimore and McNair winning would be a great "take that Tennessee"
Philly winning would be great for Garcia and I always like Philly teams.
N.O. winning would be great for N.O. city moral
Seattle??? Nice I guess, but not likely.
Chicago...well....guess someone got to represent the dark side

I was a little pre-occupied at the time and never got around to betting.
I did a lot of betting on the Canucks the last couple of yrs, up till they finally got rid of McCrow
