FIFA has set minimum and maximum field dimensions for play. There is no set field size for soccer. FIFA's "Laws of the Game" shows a fairly liberal range of dimensions but they become more stringent for International Matches. According to FIFA's "Laws of the Game": The field of ...

I think the legal thing would only work if the two employers were in the same country. No, simply because contract law is contract law. The individual who signed the deal is responsible under the laws of the country in which the contract was signed. It is still a non-performance of the contract law...

Through various inefficiencies, running BC Place is widely believed to be costing BC taxpayers $4 million annually despite the fact that it's booked for more dates than most North American stadiums. DH 8) The dollar figure being bandied about for the taxpayer's contribution to BC Place can be taken...

I can't see there being any more events in the 80s than there is now and the Lions actually played one less home game then. Only partly true. They still had 10 home dates prior to 1986. Up until they switched from a 16 game schedule to 18 games they had played 4 exhibition games instead of the curr...

Took 2 freakin' hours just to get to Hwy 1 through Surrey and Langley. thats an anomoly. I dont even take 1 hr to get to HWY 1 from tsawassen. Except maybe in rush hour. Maybe you took the long route. If Hwy 10 is the long route from the ferry to the Freeway then I took the long way. It was the Tue...

Re: Schedule to be released next week!

Report out of Edmonton is hinting that the CFL schedule will be made public next week. Okay, it's been a week. Where is it? The article suggested this week, not in a week. I am looking forward to its release as there was talk of a bye week with all teams having a week off, thus every team playing i...

Just tell me when Training Camp and Fan Fest are and then I will worry about the schedule later ... Can't remember the dates, but 'NW noon sports a couple weeks ago said a preliminary draft had been put together. Seems to me the Leos were starting on the road, possibly in a GC rematch in Montreal a...

If he makes it it will likely be as a special teamer. Is Mungro still on the team? Maybe they expect him to leave. The Colts may only dress four but that is likely because they only need one FB. Mungro blew an ACL in training camp and was lost for the season. They still have Domenic Rhodes who chip...

The least logistically challenged location is right where it sits now. Seabus/Skytrain from the North Shore. Skytrain lines to Surrey, New Westminster and Coquitlam all funnel into downtown Vancouver. ..and all go to Surrey...... The downtown core may not be the easiest to get into in a car, Thank ...

Indy isn't exactly the best situation to head to for a RB like Keith. In Joseph Addai the Colts boasted the top rookie RB in the NFL this season. Addai rushed for 1085 yards and they eased him into the starting role by platooning him with Domenic Rhodes for the first few games. Also they normally ru...

would the lions get the concessions and stuff if he bought BC Place? That would all depend on how the different businesses are structured. In all likelihood they would remain seperate entities on the books. It would all depend on what sort of rental contract Braley's BC Lions Football Club would be...

It seems that ever since the roof blew apart everyone is grabbing the pinata stick and taking a whack. The latest is local condo marketing guru Bob Rennie who was the lead story on NEWS1130 this morning weighing in that BC Place should be TORN DOWN after the Olympics. The rationale? Surprise surpri...
