Who will we beat while you are at at and how many times will we punish them?Lion Guy wrote:I predict we will play:

I am definitely making the Calgary trip this season, so I am very much looking forward for this to be the summer run, vs a fall one.

We will beat all of them. Repeatedly.Rammer wrote:Who will we beat while you are at at and how many times will we punish them?Lion Guy wrote:I predict we will play:

Okay, it's been a week. Where is it?Rammer wrote:Report out of Edmonton is hinting that the CFL schedule will be made public next week.
There are Board of Governors Meetings scheduled this week, so perhaps late in the week or early next week?pinkfreud wrote:Okay, it's been a week. Where is it?Rammer wrote:Report out of Edmonton is hinting that the CFL schedule will be made public next week.

Can't remember the dates, but 'NW noon sports a couple weeks ago said a preliminary draft had been put together. Seems to me the Leos were starting on the road, possibly in a GC rematch in Montreal around June 30. I think indications were they'd be at home the following week versus Toronto. With no threat of a last second franchise folding they should be back to a normal schedule without bye weeks. Assuming June 30 (a Saturday) is accurate then the first exhibition games should happen around June 16 and training camps should open around June 1-4.LFITQ wrote:Just tell me when Training Camp and Fan Fest are and then I will worry about the schedule later ...
You're as old as you've ever been and as young as you're ever going to be.
The article suggested this week, not in a week. I am looking forward to its release as there was talk of a bye week with all teams having a week off, thus every team playing in the other weeks.pinkfreud wrote:Okay, it's been a week. That would add up to the rough dates I'd heard on 'NW. 18 games + 1 extra week to allow for every team getting a bye somewhere along the way = 19 weeks. Nov.25 Grey Cup would mean Nov.3/4 is the final weekend. Go back 19 weeks and Week 1 starts on the Canada Day weekend, Friday June 29.Rammer wrote:The article suggested this week, not in a week. I remember hearing last season that all teams might get one bye week all at once.
Doesn't make sense having no CFL for over a week but I do like the idea of all teams playing during the same week.
I'm hoping we get 5 out of 9 home games later in the season as opposed to earlier.
Schedule has to be better than last seasons

I'm hoping the Lions get the bye Oct. 13. Hate to miss my niece's wedding reception.
