DLs Woody Baron (adductor) and Marcus Moore (hamstring) have been ruled out for Sunday's game in Regina but Sione Teuhema is poised to return after being a full participant in practice all week. DB Jalon Edwards-Cooper was a full participant on Thursday and Friday and could be activated from the 6-game injured list.
On offence, left tackle Jarell Broxton (hamstring) has been ruled out. Broxton has been the Lions' best lineman through the first half of the season but I'm interested in seeing Chris Schleuger, who was a full participant all week and could be activated in Broxton's place. Schleuger was impressive at left tackle in training camp and preseason.
QB Dane Evans is also likely to return to back up Vernon Adams after being a full participant in practice.
Third-string QB Jake Dolegala is expected to get his second career start for the Riders but they could get a boost from the activation of CFL Western all-star WR Kian Schaffer-Baker after offseason surgery. He was a Lion-killer a year ago with 5 catches for 170 yards and a TD in a 23-16 victory over the Lions at BC. Place.
