Let's see who can get closest without going over. I'll start:

27,648.

There is still time to gain momentum but I’ll say 28,500.

I got my lower bowl tix for me and the kids already (sec 218). Looking forward to the game and glad to see the upper deck open, but it's selling slowly. Prediction: 29,250.

I’m not sure what he’s seeing. A few more upper bowl tickets have been sold but 30,000 looks like a more realistic target.

I hear you B.C.FAN. This may be hyperbole but frankly, it's nice to hear the owner come on a podcast and hype the game. It may spur more people to buy tickets when they hear a number like that. People here like events and being a part of something big.

Even if they 'only' get to 30,000 for the game, that's a nearly 60% increase from the last West Semi-Final here against Winnipeg.

40,000 might be wishful thinking, but it's smart to throw it out there. If people hear it's going to be a big crowd, it'll create more of a FOMO type feel.

For context, Doman didn’t volunteer a number, saying only that the lower bowl was gone and they were into the upper bowl now. Rick Dhaliwal goaded him by asking if 40,000 was attainable.

Just looking at the ticket grid man they sold a lot of tickets in the upper deck with a great push all day today I could definitely see 35,000
Which would be great the last time the lions played a WSF with that kind of crowed was in 1986 against Winnipeg we’re they had 40,000
And that was only because they changed the playoff format were the game was on a Saturday

I was at that 1986 game. It struck me as a disappointing and rather lifeless crowd. Being played early on Saturday afternoon probably contributed to that feeling.

Yes after the lions had a record-breaking year in 1986 for attendance averaging 45,000 a game having a season ticket base of 30,000

The Lions have opened the first 10 rows of the upper deck in the west end zone and are selling adult tickets for as little as $20.
