Injuries have forced several lineup changes for the Lions' rematch with Ottawa on Saturday. Dominique Rhymes and Jarell Broxton have been moved to the 6-game injured list alongside Ryker Mathews. Lemar Durant and Jalon Edwards-Cooper have been placed on the 1-game injured list.

The good news is that Joel Figueroa is back at left tackle. With Kent Perkins performing well in place of Mathews at RT, the O-line should not be a concern. As expexted, Jevon Cottoy moves into the starting lineup in place of Durant and rookie Keon Hatcher replaces Rhymes. The Lions have been high on Hatcher since early in training camp so we'll see what he can do. Rookie Cordell Hastings is activated to back up Cottoy.

Victor Gamboa, who was edged out as a starter by Edwards-Cooper late in training camp, will get the start at CB. One other change on defence is that Marcus Sayles moves from safety to SAM, where he played most of the last game, and Anthony Thompson officially moves to safety. The allows the Lions to dress six American defensive linemen, which Rick Campbell addressed as a priority after the last game. Ufomba Kamalu may be the extra rotational DL.

Anthony Cioffi is the game-time scratch, as expected. The Lions have 8 defensive linemen dressed, including two American backups, Dana Levine Jr. and Ufomba Kamalu, as Rick Campbell wanted. Anthony Thompson will start at safety to make it possible.

That return for TD was a textbook example of how to set up blocking.

Defence needs to tighten up on second and long. Too easy.

Well I was just about to gripe about being first down on the 3-yard line and taking a sack Lions just scored
on an interception so nevermind
Tell me how long must a fan be strong? Ans. Always.

Defence saved Reilly's butt.

Well that makes up for a couple of throws Reilly shouldn't have made.
