Prefer a Canadian up and comer like Tyler Shaw out of Coquitlam (now Toronto), Loud Luxury or bigger names like Shawn Mendes or the Raptor's mascot Drake...
I could not name a song by Keith Urban, but have heard a few songs and years ago he did a duet with John Fogerty that was very good. I think the CFL hit a home run with this. He is a country superstar and GC in Calgary where country is popular. Finally having a big name singer is a big win for the CFL. Way better than the dreadful choice last year that I hated.
As for Drake no thank you. Cannot stand his music or his antics during the basketball finals. Enough with subpar performers. Keith Urban will put on a good show and has the material to back him up for been around a long time. It will be one show I probably will watch and who knows maybe become a fan of his.
