As part of the #CFLPink initiative, Angus Reid, Solomon Elimimian, Emmanuel Arceneaux, Cord Parks and recording artist Bif Naked are visiting the Oncology Ward of the BC Children’s Hospital TODAY (Wed Oct 23). Bif Naked, a cancer survivor and vocal advocate for cancer awareness will perform at halftime on FRIDAY'S game versus the Edmonton Eskimos.
All this, plus proceeds of any of the BC Lions pink merchandise sold go towards helping tackle cancer!

Well, I'm not much of a Bif Naked fan, but for those of you going to Friday's game who are, you're in for a treat as she's playing a halftime set acc to this story on the Lions' Facebook page:
Sports can be a peculiar thing. When partaking in fiction, like a book or movie, we adopt a "Willing Suspension of Disbelief" for enjoyment's sake. There's a similar force at work in sports: "Willing Suspension of Rationality". If you doubt this, listen to any conversation between rival team fans. You even see it among fans of the same team. Fans argue over who's the better QB or goalie, and selectively cite stats that support their views while ignoring those that don't.
