I think this might be the first hockey jersey I've ever seen, or any jersey for that matter, where the sleeves don't match.

Yeah, they don't do much for me but then again, I don't give a you know what for the most part. Just another jersey that will come and go. The world keeps turning, the pucks keep dropping and all is well in hockeyville tonight.

Good eye sj-roc. Didn't notice it because I was turned off by the jerseys

Before they moved to become the new Winnipeg Jets, the Atlanta Thrashers had a third uniform in which the word ATLANTA only appeared on the left sleeve while only the right sleeve contained the player's number and alternate logo.

There always seems to be some tendency to connect a national team's uniform to the national flag of the country, i.e. match the same colours, designs, etc.

The Canadian flag is vertically symmetrical, so it does look somewhat awkward over the fact that the sleeves are not symmetrical.

The Czech Republic National flag is neither vertically nor horizontally symmetrical and it looks like the country decided to display their flag vertically in their national uniform so in their case, it's more understandable that their sleeves are not symmetrical either.

Hadn't seen the Atlanta one before but given the fate of that team I'm probably not alone LOL.
