Travis Lulay, picking up right where he left off in 2011, was on target numerous times most notably with Shawn Gore and Marco Iannuzzi.

Not to be outdone on defense, strong play by Khalif Mitchell and Eric Taylor provided plenty of early camp contact. In the secondary, Gerard Lawson and Anthony Reddick caught the eye of coaching staff.

Andrew Harris, who added an extra ten pounds to his frame during the off-season, enjoyed a brisk inside run period as did Nic Grigsby.

Interesting notes from day 1...I think that Iannuzzi, Gore and Foster are all going to have BIG years as they now know what an 18 game schedule feels like...plus, all that time off season with Lulay...

Mitchell and Taylor should be monsters inside again this year

I think that Reddick is another guy who is going to have a BIG season in the Nickel spot.

Harris with 10 more pounds??? Watch out CFL...and with Stu Foord being able to spell him from time to time, Harris could be in for a monster year.

Phillips talking about actually hitting someone??? Wow, we must be in for a great season...it must be his 7 year itch...
