38,608 makes the Sask game the biggest regular season crowd since 1994. There was a crowd in 1993 I believe that was over 40,000.
A regular season game vs. Sask. here in 2005 drew 38,000 but this beats it.

I'd love you to say it to my face because you'd only say it once...if you ever had the courage to say it at all!! Blitz, 05/24/2008
nope I am afraid you are incorrect; that 2005 game you refer to drew 38,847. sorryfirstdown45 wrote:38,608 makes the Sask game the biggest regular season crowd since 1994. There was a crowd in 1993 I believe that was over 40,000.

Yes you're right, that 2005 game vs. Saskatchewan drew 38,847, and the Western Final vs. Edmonton two weeks later drew less than that, 37,000.
Goes to show you that this city will show up for a game vs. Saskatchewan, but if it's a Western Final vs. anyone other than Saskatchewan, Vancouver doesn't exactly wet it's pants over it

Money was being spent for the GC in 2005, there was no need to go and see the warmup act.
Entertainment value = an all time low

And the point is there Chimpy??
That's because the remaining 1,847 were stuck in traffic... or they were counting watermelon rinds separately for the Sask game.Yes you're right, that 2005 game vs. Saskatchewan drew 38,847, and the Western Final vs. Edmonton two weeks later drew less than that, 37,000
