It looks like again this time, there were 32 positions.

Hopefully unlike last year's squad, there is no high turnover rate when six members departed before the 2007 season ended. And in a while, I'll see which ones returned from last year. One point I can mention is that our former spokeswoman, Christa, has not returned.

Comparing the names who were on the 2007 squad, it looks there there are a majority of new faces on the team.

Three ladies were interviewed: Erica, Jessica, and Viviana. So congratulations to those three for being selected part of the 2008 Felions.

Ackles was also watching the auditions as well and there's a brief clip of him being interviewed as well by Ellis.

With their profiles up, here's a clear look at the Felions 2008 uniform. They somewhat resemble their 2005 Felions uniforms.

I wonder how the 22 out of the 32 Felions were selected to go to the Barcello La Jolla de Mismaloya Resort in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico for the calendar shoot. Perhaps being rejected to the calendar shoot in Mexico can be just as bad as being rejected after the 2008 auditions.

And for those of you who didn't know, Auro is now the dance team choreographer. That makes sense for the veteran. Congratulations for her new position!


Aura Benwick - Dance Team Choreographer


Aura enters her first season as dance team choreographer in 2008 after spending seven seasons in Black-and-Orange as a member of the Felions Dance Team.

A graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, Aura has extensive experience in dance and theatre and has performed in Singapore as one of the Gotham Divas (in-house dance group for Gotham Penthouse nightclub), toured Asia with the Las Vegas Showgirls, danced as a company member for Carnival and Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, and has toured Australia as a cast member of the musical Minor Reality. Locally, Aura has been seen in shows such as Lost Vegas Live and The Girly Show 3, has been a dancer at several local casinos, and was a member of the Vancouver Ravens’ Fly Girls for three seasons prior to joining the Felions.

In addition to her background in live performance, Aura also has significant experience in front of the camera, appearing on television in various music videos and commercials over the years.

I figured that was the same Aura who's been with the team for many years now. Nice to see her rewarded for her dedication. I have a group poster from the (then known) Lions Pride Dance Team from 2000 with her on it.

The 2008 Felions group picture is now available. I see only 30 Felions in the picture, meaning that 2 of them are missing. Since there's no caption (not yet), I wonder who are missing.
