I know that if Cal loses we clinch 2nd place minimum.
I'm just not sure I can cheer for Ssk tho.
Yeah and I realize that cheering for Cal might be a lost cause too...
And I'm not sure if I am really missing the commentators...

Are they actually not using commentators or is it just some sort of audio problem?
Sports can be a peculiar thing. When partaking in fiction, like a book or movie, we adopt a "Willing Suspension of Disbelief" for enjoyment's sake. There's a similar force at work in sports: "Willing Suspension of Rationality". If you doubt this, listen to any conversation between rival team fans. You even see it among fans of the same team. Fans argue over who's the better QB or goalie, and selectively cite stats that support their views while ignoring those that don't.

You don't have to cheer FOR the Roiders... you just have to cheer AGAINST the Stumps
Sask up 3-0 so far... er... Calgary down 0-3. That's better

I was just gonna say... WHY is there no commentary?
Audio does seem to have issues... ref's mic isn't coming through.
Kinda nice without the blathering over the play tho...

Lose Calgary Lose!
2012 Season Ticket Holder
We don't really need anyone's help to clinch 2nd at this stage... we're in the driver's seat as far as our playoff destiny is concerned.
I think we can cheer for who we want in this game without worrying too much about how it affects what we can clinch.
Actually, I would rather see Ssk lose to give us some breathing room in 1st place. Cgy is, in all likelihood, not going to run the table and catch us. They only have to lose one more game... but it need not be this one.

I'd rather see Sask lose also....keep our cushion for 1st. Calgary likely won't be better than 3rd when all is said and done. Let them win one today.
Not looking too good for Calgary at this point, though. 19-7
Calgary's quarterbacking is so inept. Just 58 yards of offence in the first half on 4-12 passing. The Stamps' only chance is to score on special teams and turnovers but they're too far behind for that to help onw. I hope Ben Sankey gets some action.
