Saturday's Game

Would anyone care to watch the game at a drinking establishment in Burnaby on Saturday? Lionheart? Soundy? Others? Now that I'm an East Side girl, I'm pretty close to the Soho for example.

Shannon is studying, Shaelyn has a friend's birthday party to go to, Kaleigh wants to wear her new BC Lions cheerleader outfit we picked up at Rick's while watching the Lions game with her dad. How could I possibly take that quality Father/Daughter time away from her?? You wouldn't want me to do that would you?

Well that thread sure got derailed fast! :lol: I'd come pick you up, but you didn't give me enough notice... I mean, I can make Quesnel *by* game time if I leave right now, but we'd never make it back for the opening kickoff...

Of course, if you wanna just spark up the BBQ and crack out some brews when I get there, that'll work too...

Well, it's football season so there is ALWAYS beer in the fridge. The projection TV (6' screen) is ready to go with the home theatre sound system (sorry no HD - YET!!). Lazyboy recliners are properly fluffed.

As for the BBQ, I'll have to go and unbury it from the snow....

It's all about knowing who you are dealing with. With some people that angle might not have worked. With you, I had a slight feelig it would work
