This is somewhat related, but I was curious, Christa, if you girls need to try-out every year to make the team or if the holdovers are simply welcome back with no try-out necessary if they want to be on the next year's squad?

They have to try out every year.

Yes you are right - we have to try out every year.

PS new bio videos are posted on the lions website of the girls.

I think being diplomatic and all that, that anyone of the Felions would be a super pick to represent the team and the province!

This to me has always been the best dance team I have seen including NFL and college teams and I've seen a few in my time.

I didn't know that Michelle was a figure skater. All the best to her.

Why did veteran Felion Kalena leave as well?

Could it be that she was upset at not being chosen to go to the Mexican Riviera?

Well, I've managed to narrow it down to 8 choices. That was damn hard!

Just like how Miss Universe pageants narrow the down the number of finalists in several rounds. Now, you must do another round of eliminations. Hard, I know. :hypno:

If this event really is cancelled, as some of you have claimed, then we will be spared with having to make such a difficult decision.

Still rather disappointing though. :sigh:

Politically incorrect. I'm surprised that they even talked about it.

Why do you feel that way?

Beauty pageants such as Miss BC Lions and Miss Grey Cup etc. has been frowned upon by women's groups for years. They consider it to be demeaning to women. Remember they used to have a Miss PNE, Miss Vancouver etc.

At least Canada still sends a Miss Canada contestant to the Miss Universe pageant every year. In 2005, Natalie Glebova as Miss Canada won Miss Universe.
