Hi Christa,

Looking at the Felions page on bclions.com, I noticed that at least two more Felions had their individual pictures removed: Kelsey N and Sarah. Did they leave they squad too? Why?

I was able to find the URL's that used to be their profiles and it looks like both of them were selected to go to the Mexican Riviera:

Kelsey N:

Sarah:

It looks like this year's Felions squad has an unusually high turnover and departure rate as at least six members have left before the end of the season:

Kalena
Mary-Anne
Michelle
Yasmine
Kelsey N
Sarah

I think Sarah was featured in a recent Playboy magazine which might have something to do with it.

This recent article in the Vancouver Sun seems to confirm what has been said about Sarah:

I'm sure the moderators will really chew me out if I post a picture or even a link to her pose. So I guess you will have to go and pick up the December 2007 edition.

What I will post instead is a link to her bio video on bclions.com. Her profile has already been removed, but her profile picture and video is still there.

Okay, now that we all know why Sarah left the squad, it is still unknown why another member also left: Kelsey N.

Christa?

In keeping with league rules, I believe she's entitled to an AJ Gass-type appeal process.....with Robbie as the adjudicator.

Oh, so I'm the adjudicator now. Fine. I'll give you my thoughts on what I consider to be unjust with regards to the Felions.

Unlike the player roster where there are practice rosters and reserves to choose from to REPLACE the players who may voluntarily or involuntarily leave the team, I don't think departing Felions are replaced by those who had auditioned.

The Felions have lost a record six members this year, and I can easily understand and empathize with how the last six young women who were cut the squad during the auditions can get really upset as they were not subsequently chosen to replace those who had left. They could also easily argue that they would never have left the squad or violated the rules like the six who have departed. I'm sure there's an unwritten rule that those selected to the squad should be committed to remaining with the team for the entire season. Are those who leave the squad prior to the end of the season punished in any way, such as making them permanently ineligible to audition for future seasons?

I don't know hard the routines are but it is probably to late for new Felions to learn them. So the appeal will fall through. Of course she could go to an independent arbitrator still.

Christa, the routines you girls performed today were really well done, I thoroughly enjoyed them. I just wanted to say thank you to the entire Felions team for entertaining us all season long. Looking forward to next year to see what you guys have in store for us.
