Dunigan's book should also be a good read - as he details the after effects of multiple concussions that forced him to retire in 1996.
I'm curious as to what Dunigan has to say about the 1988 Grey Cup. He will probably say it was the lowest point in his career, with the 1986 Grey Cup being a close second. The 1991 Grey Cup and the 713-yard passing game in 1994 must be the highlights of his memoirs, while his first Grey Cup win in 1987 must have been bittersweet.
I caught an interview with him on the 713 yards and he felt he should have had 900+ as he missed some opportunities!! The best part was that it was against the Esks!!

Sports can be a peculiar thing. When partaking in fiction, like a book or movie, we adopt a "Willing Suspension of Disbelief" for enjoyment's sake. There's a similar force at work in sports: "Willing Suspension of Rationality". If you doubt this, listen to any conversation between rival team fans. You even see it among fans of the same team. Fans argue over who's the better QB or goalie, and selectively cite stats that support their views while ignoring those that don't.

I can't wait until I can get this book, it sounds fantastic. I'm trying my best to avoid all spoilers and excerpts because I want to go in knowing as little as possible so I can enjoy it from cover to cover without having already read a piece from it beforehand.
