I will choose James "Quick" Parker as he was a multiple winner of this award and was very popular with the fans off the field.

I am going to flip my voting style as I will vote in Brent Johnson. He is an NI that won both the award as Defensive Player as well as Canadian Player in the same season. Parker though would be a good choice as well, and Bill Baker was "the undertaker", one of the better deserving nicknames in the CFL.

Norm Fieldgate or Larry Crawford - even though they didn't win that award.

I went with Brent but Quick was a close second.

I'd go with BJ, because well I've read the 50th anniversary book and although parker is great, he stands out for me as a leader on and off the field.

Johnson is the runaway winner in this poll, likely because of his multiple awards as a Canadian as well. Parker is second with his multiple wins in the 1980's.
