They have been looking in the papers at how good they are, same as the Montreal game, an afternoon game that they haven't heard the alarm bell to wake up.

Yes, nice blocks from Rodgers and Boden for Clermont!
Sports can be a peculiar thing. When partaking in fiction, like a book or movie, we adopt a "Willing Suspension of Disbelief" for enjoyment's sake. There's a similar force at work in sports: "Willing Suspension of Rationality". If you doubt this, listen to any conversation between rival team fans. You even see it among fans of the same team. Fans argue over who's the better QB or goalie, and selectively cite stats that support their views while ignoring those that don't.

Rogers took on more than he could handle, but it still did the job. I think he was hoping the other guy would go flying. Good on him though, every big play needs the downfield blocks.

Are we going to bring any true pressure during this entire game?

The best block was by an Edmonton defender on his own team mate.

Smith looked to be holding his shoulder down a little, not from much contact, just an awkward landing for JS.

Yes... thank-you Rick Campbell.... although the defence is still AWOL.

Ritchie getting burned with his 7-db scheme and no LBs to be found.
