Good for Maxx. He was an underrated defensive tackle who played above his listed weight of 262 lbs. He separated his shoulder early in training camp last year and never fully recovered. A midseason trade to Ottawa was voided when he failed his physical. I hope he is healthy this year. He can be a solid addition to the Bombers' D-line.
Maxx was one of several second generation Lions. His father Brian won a Grey Cup in B.C. in 1994.
