High snap throws off the FG timing.

Phillips defence folds like a cheap tent with game on the line. Crushing loss. They can kiss 2nd place goodbye

Sayles and Lee are their two weakest links in the secondary

3 teams we can’t beat without Rourke back.

Calgary
Winnipeg
Toronto

Not much hope for a GC at this point.

I usually like aggressive defensive play-calling but the Lions died by the blitz tonight in a game they were leading in the fourth quarter.

Adams looked dazed and confused throughout most of the game. The rest of the team just looked dazed. Hard to believe, after this game we can compete with the Stamps or the Bombers. V A just isn’t clicking with the team.

Just a reminder we beat the Argos 41-3 with Rourke

I am not a big fan of Adams but the Lions downfall was too many penalties, many of the undisciplined kind.

3rd place it is, then.

He hasn't looked great, but I feel like the play calling doesn't suit his skill set. They should try to utilize his legs more. Instead they try to make him a pocket passer and make pinpoint accurate passes.

i agree our OC isnt that great. the offence is pretty vanilla. Rourke just made it look good.. and he isnt designing plays to help VA. He's a poor pocket passer but throws well on the roll out and gives home run options. but only called it a few times tonight. Slow starts were also a problem even with rourke. How many comebacks did he have to engineer?

I agree on the penalty front. Much of Toronto's 13-0 opening cushion came from penalties on special teams resulting in an insane difference in field position. The Argos at their own 50, the Lions at their 10. And they kept doing it. (Those two early defensive offsides leading to Toronto's first TD were ghastly too.) You ain't gonna win against decent teams like that.

Can someone tell me how he was a West All-Star with Winnipeg?
