I think they should also add two other QBs who haven't played recently:

Tim Tebow
Johnny Football Manzell

OR add Tom Brady who jokingly said he should come to the CFL as he's won in every country he has played in.

Fortunately Johnny Football is banned from the CFL.

Neg list cost the team nothing, and it gets the BC Lions some free publicity on the sports wires. It might even get the Lions some space in the local sports news during Canuck pre-season. A well timed PR stunt, if you ask me.

How could the CFL schedule makers think that a Winnipeg/Toronto Grey Cup rematch would be a good idea in week 17? Or that it should overlap with a Lions/Riders game? Before this season started I think everyone would have imagined tonight's west division game would have been between two teams battling each other for playoff seeding.

Coach Campbell better not forget we are playing an undisciplined and dirty Rider team that have taken out their share of QBs over the past few seasons. Let's get a big lead and get VA out of the game as soon as possible.

It looks like the Lions have made a late lineup change. Amir Siddiqi, who wasn’t on the game roster, is taking part in pregame warmups. I don’t see Jalon Edwards-Cooper. Adrian Greene is at JEC’a cornerback position and Quincy Mauger is back at safety, where Greene was expected to line up.

Yes, they were at their own 15 so it would have been half the distance and 1st and 17.5 (officially 18).

It would have been a 7-yard penalty, half the distance to the goal. Second and 10 offered better odds than first and 17.
