Logan Bandy was taken by Saskatchewan in the fifth round, 38th overall.CrazyCanuck89 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 25, 2021 9:15 amI think you guys go Logan Bandy at 4. He can play guard or tackle. The draft is deep in LBs and DBs, one of them is bound to be around in round 2.

IMO - the Lions did pretty well with this draft.
Addressed a big area of need (D-Line) with the 1st pick and got a guy with a decent Div I resume.
Got the former #1 rated prospect (Jackson) as a later pick (futures gamble that he doesn't stick in the NFL)
Hladik at #22 was a real steal IMO; guess the Lions will be going with 2 Canadian LBs (MLB and W-OLB) with Lokombo, Konar, former 1st overall Williams and now Hladik (big, super athletic LB - wonder if he might get some looks as an edge rusher?) - riches there in terms of NI LB talent.
And Dinos CanWest all-star O-lineman Packer late in the draft was maybe another real steal - huge, strong guy. I was very surprised he was not selected much earlier ?

Great draft , the Lions hit on some needs. I'm still a little confused why they didn't take a defensive back, in very deep draft.OV - 54:40 wrote: ↑Wed May 05, 2021 6:37 pmIMO - the Lions did pretty well with this draft.

I like tge lions strategy for this draft. The higher picksmay not show up for a while but when and if tgey do we will get a good return on them Packer is still very new and with some experience he could be a good long term bet. And I am pleased with Hladik after reading his coaches comments. Great upside! Bring it on! I cant wait till camp!
