Not surprised at this as he's was pretty seriously damaged last year when you consider it was a neck injury.
The lateness of this decision seems to be about him deciding he can't play more versus possibly a coaching decision or potential offer. His best friend is Jason Maas - and he'd be a good one to keep his pal centred and focused if there was a spot there.
