So, if Meathead Brooks recovers a fumble and punts the ball in celebration, thereby incurring a penalty, why isn't Anthony Parker likewise penalized for gaining a first down and tossing the ball downfield?
High snap from Cgy centre, only the first real consequence thus far of their O line injury woes. A break for BC. Only a FGA instead of maybe a major.
Sports can be a peculiar thing. When partaking in fiction, like a book or movie, we adopt a "Willing Suspension of Disbelief" for enjoyment's sake. There's a similar force at work in sports: "Willing Suspension of Rationality". If you doubt this, listen to any conversation between rival team fans. You even see it among fans of the same team. Fans argue over who's the better QB or goalie, and selectively cite stats that support their views while ignoring those that don't.
Paredes looked wide on that one! Officials see it differently. 27-6 Cgy.

Any believers out there ?
All scores are automatically reviewed by command centre so not necessary; evidently this one stood after this review.bigtooth wrote:Sure looked that way! Challenge?sj-roc wrote:Paredes looked wide on that one!

Did you see Travis bail to his left on the last second down play way too early. We had Harris running a rub route for Arsenault but Lulay was not patient.
"When I went to Catholic high school in Philadelphia, we just had one coach for football and basketball. He took all of us who turned out and had us run through a forest. The ones who ran into the trees were on the football team". (George Raveling)
Yes — in the sense that I believe we're toast, which if we're honest was pretty much the script for this one anyway.TheLionKing wrote:Any believers out there ?

What the hell was Rainey thinking diving into the back of Yell's legs?
