Dirty Dozen, now that was a movie. And like them we take no prisoners.
They were prisoners who became good guys

Fancy nicknames lead to over confidence and problems. Just ask the Bombers of 2011.

Play well and keep the team winning while crushing the opponent. Winning consistently is the only recognition needed.

What about the other 20 years of futility?

Grey Cup ring is kinda cool, same with the banner.
I'd love you to say it to my face because you'd only say it once...if you ever had the courage to say it at all!! Blitz, 05/24/2008

I was gonna suggest JUNGLE BEASTS as are lions. However, it occurs to me that some people might put some other connotation on it and be overly sensitive and unnecessarily offended.

A lion mother defends her young ferociously. Perhap, LION MOTHA'S

Except that I don't know of many jungles here in BC, or where mountain lions reside for that matter.

These B.C. Lions are mountain lions which are also known as cougars. Lets not go there.

In light of Mitchell's suspension and the fact that it is my favourite movie off all time, I vote for the Dirty Dozen...

Mind you with so much depth on this team and regular rotations, and with Sol coming back, we may have to call them the "Dirty Baker's Dozen"...

I don't know, I could show you some forests on the coast which are pretty jungleish. This is a rain forest, sir.

As for African lions, they don't live in the jungle, they live in grasslands. But our mountain lions live anywhere from seashore to alpine.

As Coast Mountain Lion's avatar shows, the "Lions" refer to the iconic rock formations that appear to look like crouching lions (kinda like constellations, you have to use your imagination a bit). Given that this is Vancouver and the lions are made of stone, I suggest: The Stoners.

Can't see a problem with that.

That's funny...I love it...could you imagine the coin toss before every game???

Our players would be like "Dude, like whatever man, you take ball, give it to us...I mean we all end up in the same place anyways man..."

How about "The Ghost and the Darkness"? Can't be any more bad-ass than two real-life lions that claimed the lives of over a 130 people. I am thinking the offense could be the Ghost and the defense could be the Darkness. Not sure where that leaves special teams...

the missing links

the replicators - they just keep coming

the wraith - they suck the life out of the opposition.
