We take it on the 35 instead of making them kickoff into the wind. Sadly I wasn't surprised by that call.
Sports can be a peculiar thing. When partaking in fiction, like a book or movie, we adopt a "Willing Suspension of Disbelief" for enjoyment's sake. There's a similar force at work in sports: "Willing Suspension of Rationality". If you doubt this, listen to any conversation between rival team fans. You even see it among fans of the same team. Fans argue over who's the better QB or goalie, and selectively cite stats that support their views while ignoring those that don't.
Yeah, this one's done.

This is an embarrassment. Losing to the last place team in the league with a 3rd string Qb

Could they have taken this team too lightly? The most dangerous opponent is not the team in first or second place but the team that looks like they can do nothing.
Can anyone say Mike Reilly?
This game is so weird that the radio guys can't figure out who is being flagged! I am not able to see it today - will watch later - but it seems some strange calls.

Blowing it badly tonight
"Just Win Baby" ~ Al Davis
Our best offensive play of the half by Harris right there.

I'm not surprised, this has been very hard to watch.Toppy Vann wrote:This game is so weird that the radio guys can't figure out who is being flagged! I am not able to see it today - will watch later - but it seems some strange calls.
MABEY!
Seriously, does the league have some sort of policy of CLASSIFYING penalty calls if they happen to occur just before a commercial break? I've always noticed this at BCP, too.Toppy Vann wrote:This game is so weird that the radio guys can't figure out who is being flagged!
