According to CTV news tonight, over 25,000 tickets have already been sold for tomorrow's game. If the rain holds off :cr: we could be close to a sell-out.

BTW, was anyone else surprised to see so many empty seats at Commonwealth Stadium given the Eskimos' hot streak and being such a crucial game?

I didn't notice anything unusual tonight. Commonwealth is like B.C. Place. It always looks bad on TV, even when the crowd and the atmosphere are good in the stadium. Officially, they had over 32,000 there tonight. That's down a few thousand from what they drew in against traditional rivals Saskatchewan and Calgary but it's not a bad crowd. The Lions will be happy to get anything over 25,000 Sunday. Most people I know are giving away tickts or turning them down because of Halloween.

Lions 35, Riders 14. Then the same score in the rematch in two weeks. Do it boys.

25K plus will be a good crowd, but you also have to think that a fair number in attendance will be wearing green and white - not black and orange.

If they had 32,000 there tonight, then 5,000 people must have come dressed as 'empty seats' for Halloween.

Yep, I dread to see how much of that crowd is green this afternoon.

I didn't see that many Saskatchewan fans, either.

Sorry to hear that, maybe you are destined for the larger ones in BC Place. :)
