Could Printers become a Lion again?

Funny how Printers' visit to Vancouver was suddenly cancelled when all he really wanted to do is visit his girlfriend and attend the Boat Show.
Apparently reliable sources suggest he learned he could simply move to Pittsburgh to be a pirate. He therefore decided not to buy a boat , poke out an eye, saw off a leg and purchase a parrot. So you see FD 45 there was no point in attending the boat show cause he no longer needed a pirate ship.firstdown45 wrote:Funny how Printers' visit to Vancouver was suddenly cancelled when all he really wanted to do is visit his girlfriend and attend the Boat Show.
Were you and him going to be pirates together?
O'Billovich is in Winnipeg today talking trade for Glenn.
When Kevin Glenn gets traded to Hamilton (possibly today), you think he's going to play back up there to Casey Printers?
A better question is would Casey fall into # 3 behind Porter? Porter didn't look that bad last season.
Printers will become second or third stringer in Hamilton and he will be asked to take a pay cut or get lost.
They'res no way they're going to pay Casey Printers that big money being a # 2 or # 3 behind Kevin Glenn and even Porter.
Be interesting to see what the trade bait is. Winnipeg will have to take their chances with Dinwiddle.

Looks like the plan is to have Kevin Glenn as a backup to Quinton Porter:
From the Winnipeg Free Press:
K. Glenn set to become a Tabbie
I'm betting Kevin Glenn becomes a Tiger-Cat today (Groundhog Day). Cats are interested, the Blue Bombers have him up for grabs. The only thing to be negotiated is the price. The Bombers want Cedric Gagne-Marcoux in return. Fair price? To me it seems a bit steep for a guy who will be coming here as a backup. Failing that the Bombers might settle for draft picks and might seek the Cats first overal and the thrid pick that the Bombers gave up on the Moreno deal. Fair price? Well draft picks are dicey but we do know this is a really weak draft year so we'll see. Once the Glenn pact gets done all eyes on the C. Printers' front because he won't be here for long. Ken

The spelling is good. The grammar is reasonable. The ideas are at least somewhat reasonable. There is a lack of provocative nonsense.
It sure beats the usual drivel that is either annoying, or, in a more tolerant mood, amusing.

Probably got help from 120db
This isn't from the Free Press. It's a Hamilton Spectator blog: http://catchat.thespec.com/2009/02/k-gl ... bbie-.htmlfirstdown45 wrote:Looks like the plan is to have Kevin Glenn as a backup to Quinton Porter:

Surprisingly, the spelling errors here aren't FD's.

I'm not sure Mr Dinwiddie would agree.WestCoastJoe wrote:firstdown45 wrote:O'Billovich is in Winnipeg today talking trade for Glenn.
