did I just climb into the way back machine and transport myself to the first preseason game vs. Saskatchewan?

More lousy field position...with Calgary on fire now.
We will be fine. We are not out of the game despite Calg on fire and the Lions not yet firing.

Halftime can't come soon enough. We need to make adjustments.
The one punt he manages to get off, the team forgets how to tackle.
Ugly first half so far.
That last hit on Clermont was questionable at best seeing as the ball was on the turf when it happened. Just a case of some young kid looking to make a name trying to take out a top player in a comprimising position.

It looked like a helmet shot to the head on JC, yes.
That long kick basically outkicked the coverage.
I think you are seeing a very good coached Calgary team fired up for its opener. The Stamps will be the Sask team of last year under Austin.
The Lions have a new DC with a new approach and it will take time. Right now the D is not helping and the Offence has yet to really click.
I doubt the Lions need to panic. It is time to take it up a notch or two...but no time to panic.

Nah, our offence hasn't really had much of a chance yet. Buck hasn't been the problem so far. It's our D that is blowing this game for us so far.Larry Key wrote:Time for a change up. Get JJ in there in the second half.
