Some members of the Argos organisation (QB Damon Allen, Pres/CEO Keith Pelley, HC Pinball Clemons, S Orlando Steinauer and a few cheerleaders) were on hand to open the TSX this morning...

...and its main index promptly tumbled 177.98 points (1.29%) on the day. That's an omen if I ever saw one.

Sports can be a peculiar thing. When partaking in fiction, like a book or movie, we adopt a "Willing Suspension of Disbelief" for enjoyment's sake. There's a similar force at work in sports: "Willing Suspension of Rationality". If you doubt this, listen to any conversation between rival team fans. You even see it among fans of the same team. Fans argue over who's the better QB or goalie, and selectively cite stats that support their views while ignoring those that don't.

It is what it is.
17-14 Lions, I think the offence may continue to struggle a bit in the beginning of the season but i kind of hope I eat my words and everything looks like a fined tune machine for the Leos !!!
Thank you for everything you did for OUR Lions Mr.Ackles, we will never forget you...RIP
