Fast-Food Poll #3: Favourite Submarine Sandwich Chain

The third poll will deal with franchise shops that specialize in submarine sandwiches. I'm aware of three such shops in Greater Vancouver. There used to be a lot of Mr. Submarine's in Greater Vancouver, but most of them seemed to close once Subway hit the Vancouver market.

I worked at a Subway before and at that time, there were only two types of bread, white and wheat. Now, they've introduced at least four newer kinds. And for a long time, Subway adopted the u-cut on the way they cut their bread, but five years ago, adopted a typical horizontal cut. Subway also had various partnerships and campaigns with both the Canucks and the Lions. During the cup run in 1994, Subway handed out various signs of support - that's when I worked there.

There are other chains like Blimpie and Captain Submarine that exist in Ontario, but haven't hit the BC market yet.

My vote would be for Subway.

Darn, I have known that, but cant remember, You might have to ask a mod, or create a new one. Seems to me there is a way though.

In my donuts poll, I forgot to add in Tim Hortons. But pressing the Edit on that post produced a page that allowed me to edit the poll options too so that's how I managed to add in another option. But for this thread, pressing Edit does not produce the modify poll page.

Thanks. I actually did that, but after scrolling down the options section did not appear. I think it's because KIA already made his post. Anyways, thanks for adding the Subway option!

I don't think there are any Pita Pit's in Greater Vancouver, and my poll was exclusively for fast-food chains in the Lower Mainland.
