Wide receiver. Wore #1, if I'm not mistaken. He was a person who had a troubled youth, but Buono gave him a chance. I thought he had a pretty good year on the Lions, then Buono cut him for non-related football reasons. This article states that it was because of domestic violence.

Ended up a Tiger-Cat, but was cut again. I think it was because he got into trouble with the law.

Trouble is hardly the word. Deep do do is more like it. It hardly gets worse than a murder charge. Paris Jackson as I recall tried to take Boden under his wing. He was troubled even during his brief time with the Lions. As far as I can recall, when asked at some later point when Boden got into trouble with the law, Jackson had kind of intimated that he had tried to help the young man out but that you can only really help if the person you are helping is willing to accept it. At any rate, this is one of those stories about an athlete that had tons of natural talent and promise only to have their own personality end their careers. Aaron Hernandez, Lawrence Philips, Mike Danton, Mike Tyson, Latrell Sprewell, the list goes on and on.

Given how short his career is, it's a bit frustrating to hear them mention the Lions every time he had a court date.
