Though this is not official, Ed Willis is reporting it is likely to happen. Our ST should be a lot better this year than it was under Taylor A. This will be a good hire.

Been 25 years since he last coached ST in the CFL but has plenty of CFL coaching as DC and LBC since then. Also extensive experience as STC in NCAA ball with Kentucky, Baylor, Tulsa and Louisville before returning to the CFL with Winnipeg in 2009. He's been on Campbell's Ottawa staff since Day 1. Looks like he would be a very good addition with lots of CFL experience, I've long been aware of the name but until looking him up today didn't realize he is Canadian and played 7 years for the Stamps and Riders.

Coaching on Special Teams matters.
But Special Teams overall performance is first and foremost an indicator of roster depth. Trick play/field awareness aside, deeper rosters should be better on Special Teams as players on Teams have better athleticism and instincts.
That said, a good start to filling out the staff. No complaints here.
