I guess Ed Willis knew something when he mentioned Menard rotating with others. It was made official today. Should never let him go. Another mistake Hervey corrects but too late. Nevertheless, good signing:

VANCOUVER –The BC Lions have re-signed National defensive lineman David Menard, the team announced on Tuesday.

The six-foot-one, 260-pounder was the Lions’ fourth-round selection in the 2014 CFL Draft. He played in 84 regular season games before becoming a free agent following the 2018 season.

Now in his sixth season, the Chicoutimi, Quebec native has tallied 39 defensive stops and 15 sacks. Last season, Menard played in 14 games and tallied a defensive tackle.

Will Rolly Lumbala be the next player to be brought back by Hervey to help the Special Teams ?

Menard has a motor that is always running. Good move to re-sign him.

ED had a good opportunity to view the 2018 Lions roster that he inherited, close up, yet has seemed to have mis judged a lot of players. Winston Rose, Bo Locombo., Awe, Lemon, Otha Foster, Anthony Orange, Menard, Jeremiah Johnson come to mind. Not to mention, he could have re-signed Solly for less $ than he blew signing Suk Chung.

Some of the success of former players is the contingent of surrounding players and how it all comes together.

Also like Adam Bighill who David noted isn't having a break out season aren't the shining stars as they are surrounded by players who are making plays versus the MLB being everywhere on the field. Sol E is leading that DEF and inspires and gives confidence to his team.

Just bringing in some players can work - or it doesn't. Rarely in-between.

Quite frankly that is one of the key reasons that STs are not functioning and there are breakdowns this season - lack of someone like a Lumbala.

Ed said he didn't feel that guys playing 4 or 5 plays a game and making 160K were worth it.
Maybe time for a re-think of that.

LOL..

Wow.

I made a thread to refute something in a locked thread. But i noticed my original post was apparently subject to moderation. My thread did not show up.

Is tgat really the way this site works?

Apparently it does because when I tried to send an email to the mods for clarification. I was informed that I didn’t possess that privilege.

Is this even real life.

It’s a good thing I don’t belong to any other site. Are they all like this?

I’m amazed and awed by this.

Hi there mod (waving). Will you okay my post?

That is the way the site works, for a new poster his/her first few posts require a moderators approval. It's a spam prevention tool so we aren't littered with viagra posts and crap like that
