This team is a joke. This season is definitely over.
Time to cut some vets and save money and get rid of some coaches or Hervey.

So far? We are beyond done.
If I were Burnham and Reilly I would just leave

Atillio the special teams coach is worse than the one before Reinbold. Truly unbelievable

Completely inexcusable. Not sure what Burnham was so happy about at the end of the game. Heads should be hung in shame. Especially our clueless special teams coach.
I have been watching Lions football for many years now. This is the most frustrating.

Well, the defense has been a lame elephant all year. If you can't get any pressure on an opposing QB, you are going to lose all the time. Even rookie QB's like what we faced tonight are going to be able to complete passes when they have all day to make them. You re watch that last drive, and you will see that on most plays, there wasn't a DLineman within 3 yards of Evans.

I think that maybe the post game thread should be labelled the "post season" thread.

You know it's a bad season when your best game is a loss.

Well at least tonight they gave us the illusion that they were going to win and I suppose there were some positives. For 1, Reilly didn't spend all game running for his life. The offense in general seemed to be connecting in ways that we haven't seen all season. Where we failed miserably again was on the D and the teams. The D just doesn't seem to have the talent to get it done and frankly I don't know what our teams are doing. I count it as a win if we manage to tackle opposing runners.

Only head I want right now is that of the geezer DC whose best before date was about a week before the 2013 WSF.....if not earlier.
