New practice field for Lions?

Going by on the Skytrain I noticed a new field beside the current field at the Surrey facility. It appears to be artificial turf. Is this an alternate field for the Lions during rain when the current field will be too slippery?

No it's not for the Lions. It's owned by the city. The lions can rent it if they wish to. This according to Wally himself.

Which he has mentioned that he would be interested in doing, as he has the Cloverdale field in the past and wouldn't have to ship out all of the equipment to now. IIRC, the field will not be marked for football, but rather soccer, so this won't be quite as good.
Entertainment value = an all time low
