A 3-2 lead by the Blues now heading home for game 6. Let's see if they can win their first Stanley Cup in franchise history.

It's going down to the wire now to a game 7. Let's see if there's going to be a very first game 7 overtime.

I may give it a glimpse but the other night when I turned it on to see the Blues win a cup, it immediately turned disastrous lol

I'm more pumped for the NBA game in Oakland tomorrow night.

2-0 St. Louis Blues with 9 minutes remaining in the 3rd period. Will the Blues finally avenge their loss to the Bruins 49 years later?

Now 3-0 lead by the Blues now with 8:35 remaining. I'd say that all but seals the win.

The Blues are doing to the Bruins what the Bruins did to the ;canucks: in 2011. Too bad the ;canucks: couldn't win a single game of the 3-games played TD Garden. If the Blues win it all, then 3 of the 4 wins would have been on the road in Boston.

Good to see Don Cherry choke on his prediction.

No more bragging rights over:

The Blues have avenged the loss 49 years later in Boston.
Of course, I don't think any of the players were even born back in 1970.
And while Bobby Orr is still around, I'm sure some of the Bruins from that team have passed on. Garnet Bailey from the Bruins roster was part of the planes involved in 9/11.

Good on the officials for keeping their whistles in their pockets last night. And good on the players for playing a game where the officials had no reason to pull their whistles out of their pockets. Only 1 penalty and that was Parayko for delay of game puck over the glass. Both squads played hard and played disciplined. Very entertaining to watch.

I agree with Robbie. Watching that game also made me think back to Game 7 in 2011. The Canucks could not get anything going even though they outshot the Bruins 37-21.

Last night the Boston home fans got a taste of their own medicine--it was deathly quiet in there. Marchand was crying in the dressing room interview after the game. As Don Cherry said, his careless line change caused the goal that made them lose all momentum--after they spent most of the time dominating play with nothing to show for it.

The only difference is that the city of Boston did not have a riot after the loss.

But ironically, the city of Montreal had a celebration riot over the Bruins loss:
