Defending champions Team USA going back to the World Cup final with a 2-1 win over England. FIFA has come a long ways in keeping rules enforced by using video review and in this case, a possible England goal was called off because of an offside. In an attempt to keep the game fair, it may have caused even more controversy. But at least when it comes to black and white issues, there won't be phantom goals like Frank Lampard in 2010 in the game against Germany.

Let's see what happens between Sweden and Netherlands. If either team doesn't win the final, I'd say they will feel the same way Team Croatia did in the men's FIFA World Cup last year in that they would still feel more positive feelings than negative feelings given the fact that it was a huge accomplishment by itself to even reach the finals.

Netherlands wins the other semi-final 1-0 over Sweden in extra time. So it will be Netherlands vs. USA in the final.

England vs. Sweden for third place. Sweden has won 3rd place twice and once for 2nd, while England won a single 3rd place in 2015.

Team Netherlands never even qualified from 1991 - 2011 and lost the round of 16 in 2015. So for them to suddenly make it to the final is a huge surprise and honor and if they don't win, they will certainly celebrate their 2nd place.

2-0 win by Team USA over Team Netherlands in a deservedly win as they were clearly the better team. Although the first penalty kick may have been somewhat controversial, the second goal was clearly clean, good, and fair.

And it's good that only one game in this 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup was decided by a penalty kick shootout, and that was in the round of 16 .
