Three more bronze medals for Canada. Divers Roseline Filion of Laval, Que., and Meaghan Benfeito of Montreal kicked things off today with a third-place finish in the 10-metre synchro event. Antoine Valois-Fortier won a bronze in men’s judo less than 30 minutes later. Weightlifter Christine Girard has captured bronze in the women’s 63-kilogram class.
I mentioned before that I believe the only sports environment in which the results can be changed long after the fact would the International Olympics.

Canadian weightlifter Christine Girard was originally given the bronze medal in the women’s 63-kilogram class in the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. But she has just been upgraded to a gold medal after Maiya Maneza of Kazakhstan and Svetlana Tsarukaeva of Russia — were stripped of their gold and silver medals, respectively, after a 2016 retest of samples showed they had cheated by taking steroids.

As mentioned before, only in the Olympic Games can the event results be overturned long after the fact.

As such, the Canadian men's 4x100-metre relay team from the 2020 Tokyo Olympics got an upgrade from bronze to silver at a reallocation ceremony after the original silver medalists, the British team was disqualified due to a doping violation by team member.

Yet another example in which the results have been changed long after the event, Russia's Kamila Valieva was disqualified from the 2022 Olympics. And as such in the Team Figure Skating event, the original Russia team wo placed first will be disqualified as well.

Original silver medalists USA will be upgraded to gold, Japan will upgrade their bronze to silver, and fourth place finishers Canada will get the bronze.

Update:
Unfortunately Canada may still finish fourth because after Kamila Valieva's points are taken away, team ROC will still finish in third place for the bronze medal. Skate Canada is appealing.
