Re: Will Reilly Retire?

Riley's Twitter account and instagram are both deleted. He was fairly active in the past promoting the CFL on those accounts. I wonder if their deletion is an indication of pending retirement.

Re: 2021 season

If there is no season this year, I wonder whether we'll see Mike Reilly back next year and if not, what our plans are for a new starter. With Ontario in its current state, its hard to believe the Argos would play unless they plan in another province.

Re: Randy Ambrosie optimistic about 2021

Seems problematic social distancing while lining up to get into BC Place, line up for Concessions, bathrooms. Also, for those whose families are not football fans, explaining to your significant other that you are going to the game and putting the family at risk (FUD or not) to watch the game is a h...

Re: Simulated CFL Games

Would have been nice to have actual CFL players/coaches post their post game interview reactions to their simulations via twitter. Would have helped keep the CFL on the minds of fans and be good publicity.

Re: Speculation is over. No season in 2020.

Oddly, Mike Reilly's twitter account is gone -> https://twitter.com/rikester13. Hopefully, its temporary and he'll bring it back next season.

Less Browne would be one of my corners.

My other fav, if not best, is Andre Francis.
Agreed on Andre Francis. I think he should have gotten in over Keith Gooch.

Would have also like to see Anthony Drawhorn in.

Re: COVID-19 : How it could impact Lions/CFL

With only 6 games played, given the average CFL salary, I wonder whether players would think it's worth the risk. Also, would winning the Grey Cup this year be as special as it normally is or just something marked with an asterix next to it?

Re: COVID-19 : How it could impact Lions/CFL

Lions can only play when the BC Government's Phase 4 is reached where a vaccine is developed, widespread vaccination, the implementation of effective treatments, and evidence of community immunity.

Given that, it seems unlikely the CFL will play this year or maybe even next year.

Re: COVID-19 : How it could impact Lions/CFL

On the plus side, if the season is cancelled, the 2020 Lion draft picks won't be at training camp until 2021. The competition between the 2020 picks and 2021 picks at camp should be interesting to decide which years picks are the best.

Re: Who are your Top 5 Favourite B.C. Lions?

The lasting memories I have of them are good ones. I'm pretty bad with remembering things, so the negatives like a bad play on a drive is long forgotten.

Forgot about Jon Volpe. I'd have to edge Cherry out for him for my top 5.

Re: Past BC Lions TRADES - Evaluate and Discuss - Good or Bad? (11 years later)

I would like to respond to this but my mind aint so good these days. I cant seem to remember much in the way of trades this century, good, bad, or otherwise. I am sure however that nothing has been nearly as bad as trading away half of the best talent on the team for Dunigan. I don't get why 1) Reg...

Re: Who are your Top 5 Favourite B.C. Lions?

1. Casey Printers - Printers was exciting to watch. Casey Printers I can kind of understand. For those of you who listed Casey Printers, it's fair to say that he was one of your favourite completely because of his first stint with the Lions especially with his 2004 MOP performance. That said, did a...

1. Casey Printers - Printers was exciting to watch. I do like Flutie more but I associate him more as a Calgary player. 2. Greg Stumon Casey Printers I can kind of understand. Greg Stumon? Wow! I can't say that he ever crossed my mind as a favourite Lion, though he was very good for a few years. Th...
