Re: Casey Released ... Cole, Willes, Ullrich, Beamish
Despite vehement denials by Geroy Simon and other vets at the time, there may be some truth to the rumours that Printers was a cancer in the dressing room in his earlier stint with the Lions. Nope, most liked him. However, the Dickenson 'contigent' as they were referred to, which was a small group ...

Easy there. Your punctuation and grammar isn't good enough to be calling others out for their spelling.CatsEyes wrote:or "fare" eitherLarry Key wrote:

Re: Breaking News... Printers cut!
You can't use that type of argument when you also think WB should be fired. If personal record vs the team should keep CP's job, then Wally's record vs the league should keep his. Why not? What does Wally's record in the 1990's have to do with his record TODAY? Wally as head coach this year is 5-9....

I don't think CFL coaches and GMs will agree with you.The_Pauser wrote:I hope Casey gets on with another team, and honestly I can see him burning us. Within the right system, Casey is one of the top QB's in the league. Wally was just too stupid to move on from the crap Chapball we've employed.

Re: Breaking News... Printers cut!
I'm not ready for Lulay as our unchallenged starter. He seems to be a small ball prototype. I guess we will know more by the end of the season. As for Wilson, the man has too many lives. He is what some people call a progress stopper - just good enough to hold a spot, but in doing so he stunts the ...

Re: Breaking News... Printers cut!
The experiment didn't work, but it was worth a shot. I wasn't a huge fan of CP in his last go-around, but got back on the bandwagon late last year when he showed flashes of 04.His attitude seemed to have improved, but it didn't keep up when things got tough. The inspired play never emerged when thi...

Re: Cheerleaders and Critics - Optimists and Pessimists
Oh, I should add that our record this years is bad. We can't say a 11-0 worse than it is, and a 4-8 record isbetter than it is. The record is what it is in relation to the other teams. There is no good bad record, or bad good record. Come on.

11-0 is 11 wins and no losses. it was exactly what is was at the time. Unless those responsible weren't!Blitz wrote:I remember the conversation on Lionbackers well notahomer, during that 11-0 start. Things were not as good as the appeared to be.

Well I'm glad we won, but really, with Burris' winning percentage, do you really think he only wins when he doesn't think?Solar Max wrote:

Lion or Stamp, or any team... self promotion is self promotion, in spite of the "foundation."
Just raise money and give it to the charily, forgo the self-named ego-gratifying foundation.

Oh my, people see what they want to see...
GUESS WHAT. CALGARY WAS THE UGLY TEAM! Not the team that won.
The team that lost was ugly. But I suppose if you hate this this Lions regime, those know nothing fools still should be fired. :P
