Six Feet Under was one of the best shows ever. It ran on HBO in the US, not sure if it ran in Canada. When the series finale aired last year I was left feeling very sad, like I was saying goodbye to a dear friend who I knew deep down I would never see again. purrfect thread title.

Thanks for posting that, it was thrilling to watch again. What I noticed this time was how on the earlier incompletion to Alexander (around the 5 yard line when Danny Mac threw from the left side without getting his feet properly planted) was just how close that could have been to becoming another c...

Winnipeg better get their act together quick or Edmonton will be crossing over.

Now that Saskatchewan has beaten Winnipeg I'll vote for a split. If the Riders had lost last night I would have hoped for Calgary to sweep just to keep the Esks from moving ahead of Sask.

No surprise the letter is from a woman... women are the toughest critics of other women.

Stop hating on the Felions, Rhonda... I don't hear you complaining about the tight pants the players wear, now do I?

Doug Flutie

Not really trying to start a new thread... just looking for an answer. With all the talk of Joseph's contract and salary caps in other threads I'm wondering if I am remembering correctly something about Doug Flutie.... At one time was the CFL either holding Flutie's contract (maybe when McNall went ...

I love orange. I was pissed when they went to brown/black/sliver back in the 90s and I love that they are finally back in orange.

Orange jerseys, big crowds, buzz, 1980s.... Orange jerseys, big crowds, buzz 2005. Hmmm.

DD shouldn't lose his job to injury, but considering how the Lions were playing during his last few starts, CP probably would have taken over by now even if DD was healthy. I have to question this statement, because Dickenson so far this year has been the highest-rated passer in league history and ...

CP should start in Edmonton. DD shouldn't lose his job to injury, but considering how the Lions were playing during his last few starts, CP probably would have taken over by now even if DD was healthy. Casey is hot and the Lions really need to win this game to avoid giving the Esks any hope of winni...

One thing that will have a major impact on who stays and who goes is what happens in the next 36 days. If CP starts the next couple of games and does well then I think he's the guy for the playoffs. I can't imagine CP leading us to a Grey Cup victory only to get traded so DD can get back his startin...

But if they deal DD and keep CP then Buck has to decide if he wants to wait and see if Printers fails to stick in the NFL 3 years from now. If I were Buck, I'd commit long term to BC if it means playing behind DD. But if I was looking at the possibility of backing up Printers for 6 or 7 years then ...

I think Buck is the big factor here. If they deal Printers and keep DD, then Buck is looking at having the starting job passed to him in as little as maybe 2 years. But if they deal DD and keep CP then Buck has to decide if he wants to wait and see if Printers fails to stick in the NFL 3 years from ...

Poll: would you have rather

have lost 46-44 or 14-12. Sure you never want to lose, but would you feel better about the Lions state of affairs if we had lost a close, low scoring game? Me? I'm voting for losing the shootout. Montreal has a great offense, and AC will probably win MVP unless DD gets healthy and back to form pronto.

I thought Braley summed it up quite well on the pre-game show... the Lions shedule has been out for about 6 months and the first people to get a copy sent to them are the Canucks management. Without coming right out and saying it, Braley says the Canucks are dix for scheduling a game up against the ...
