For some reason I never really think of Dunnigan as a Lion... not sure why... I tend to think of him as an Eskimo more than anything. Perhaps it's because as an Eskimo, Dunigan broke the hearts of Lions fans so many times. Specifically, when he demolished the Lions in the 1986 and 1987 West Divisio...

94 Grey Cup is the most exciting game I ever attended. Second place would go to a road game I attended in Regina in 1990 or 1991 when Flutie scored 2 touchdowns in the last 2 minutes of the game to steal a win against the Riders.

maybe they should have taken all the money the Libs are putting into the Olympics and bought Fast Ferries instead?

Typical overhyped "local boy makes good" story from a small town paper. Down here the local media has been known to refer to Milt Palacio (the US born son of Belizean parents who spent 7 seasons as a back up guard for Vancouver, Boston, Toronto, Phoenix, & Utah) as an "NBA superst...

It could also be that the Rose Bowl was part of package of games, or other programs, that TSN bought. So they were paying for it whether they showed it or not. In that case why not run the first half and collect some ad revenue? Not a great strategy from a viewer's point of view, but knowing how the...

I agree that what they have already done constitutes tampering. I just think that knowing how much attention anything involving CP will get, it would be in the Argos best interest to avoid being accused of dirty dealing in this situation. Of course, the most plausible reason for trying to trade for ...

I'm not sure why they would even bother with the Rose Bowl - if you can get TSN, you can get ABC. There's your answer right there... anyone who wanted to keep watching the Rose Bowl could change the channel to ABC, so the mcuh larger Leaf's audience could watch the hockey game. I don't see why anyo...

Why trade for negotiation rights when it is less than 45 days to his CFL FA date. If they can get his rights for practically nothing why not? Then they can talk to him and not be guilty of tampering. Sure they've made their intentions known, but it would be much easier if they were allowed to call ...

They also know with only 2-1/2 months left until Printers is a CFL free agent there is a short window of opportunity for BC to get something in return. Thanks Hambone, I'd say his rights till Feb are absolutely worthless. What good are they? First, Casey still wants to be a chief, second there is n...

There is no "home field advantage" in golf. There may be a local favourite, or a player who knows the course better than others, but no one is the home team. In football you play an equal number of games at home as you do away, and then you earn the home field advantage for playoffs based ...

Global is in no position to handle a major sports property like CFL. They have nobody inside their organization with experience with broadcasting sports and most likely what would happen is it would become the pet project of David Asper. Trust me, it wouldn't be a good product. As for CBC, I just go...

If they are dumping salaries in order to fit CP within the SMS then I am happy that they are taking the cap seriously. But the cynic in me says that the CFL will turn a blind eye to the Argos paying whatever it takes to get CP because (everyone repeat after me), "what's good for Toronto is good...

I can't remember... did Greene get cut from the Lions before the WDF or the Grey Cup in 1983? Anyone else remember that hearing that or know if i...
