Re: State of the Lions
fyi Roar Report @RoarReport Wally repeated this week that the DL pass rush is "good enough" and big plays given up by secondary are far more concerning #CFL #bclions That sounds like a GM that is satisfied with his DL. I thought a GM is always supposed to be looking for better talent, do...

Re: State of the Lions
Wally is here until his contract runs out at the end of the 2016 season. By that time, a new owner may be in place to choose a successor. Nothing will happen before then. That is the problem, it doesn't matter what Wally does he is safe. He is owed to much money to buy out. This is a rebuilding yea...

State of the Lions
Has the time come for Wally to be given the same fate as many of his players? When he came here back in 2003 the Lions were a mess. He brought stability and winning to the organization. But did we peak way back in the 04-07 run? It is his 13th year heard and it seems like we have settled and a slow ...

Re: Argos vs. Lions Game Day Thread
Rain and cooler temperatures are forecast. Dennis Skulsky told TSN 1040 on Thursday that he's hoping for good weather but that the roof will be closed if there is a threat of rain. Who makes the call on the roof, BC Place or the Lions? If it is the Lions, terrible decision. Attendance will take hit...

Re: 2015 TV viewership
Once again a game involving the Lions demolished the competition this past week. The Lions-Riders game was #1 in TV ratings for team sports and #4 overall after the Pan Am games. Friday's game attracted an audience of 755,000. The next highest CFL audience was 596,000 for another Western match-up, ...

Re: Austin Collie Open to New Ideas
I think the NFL has labeled him as the poster child for concussions. With the numbers he put up it is really surprising that no team really gave him a shot. With his age combined with how pro-ready a lot of the college receivers are I doubt he gets another shot. Great for us though, hopefully he pla...

Re: Congrats to Geroy
Through out the game Geroy seemed more interested in putting/keeping his hands in his handwarmer then catching balls, blocking etc. In my opinion he did not look good on or off the field this year. Selfish aging player.

Maybe you are thinking of Kenjon Barner. He was a running back for the Oregon Ducks and is now with the Carolina Panthers.
If he doesn't stick in the NFL I think he would be a great CFL back and kick returner.

It is going to be hard to come back from this one.
Edmonton can run the ball and with that they can run the clock.

Re: Game Day Thread, Eskimos @ Lions, July 20, 2012
that pick six could really take the momentum away that we had developed.
That was a 10 or 14 point swing. Worse case we get a FG.

How about we just make the field goal. Then there is nothing to return

Re: Esks and Bombers
Third quarter, 35-0 Eskimos. Yes, the same Schmoes who barely eked out one point against a slightly less inept Riders team last weekend. It's not like Jyles and Joseph have suddenly created an offensive powerhouse, more like the Bombers are shooting themselves in both feet and at least one knee. To...

Re: Paris Jackson
It just ticks me off to see Iannuzzi get game reps over Paris Jackson, as in last weeks game when Gore went out with an injury. I was blown away too when Iannuzzi went in after Gore got hurt. That is what really got me thinking about P Jacks future with the Lions. But I have to hand it to the guy i...
