An apology on behalf of real Rider fans

to the BC lions players, fans and the CFL I apologize for the behavior of a certain group of people at Mosaic Stadium last night. The actions of these 40 or so individuals was inexcusable and they have tarnished the reputation of true football fans. I for one was not at the game but had I been there...

Re: Riders/Lions Back to Back

Looking forward to a great 2 game series. BC IMO has become the true rival of the Riders based upon the last few years. The Riders have rivals? According to your boards they are in a league all their own. As a matter of fact, there should be an all-Rider league where only the Riders play the...

Re: Anyone else notice the siren during Bombers/riders game?

The siren sounded loud on TV but many at the game in the general area have said it wasn' even heard in the stands. While we may have been able to penalized I think that unless the Bombers complain there is no issue, and then the refs have to determine f the noise itself is too much. I don't see eith...

Re: Marcus Crandell released

What a stupid move by Sask. Who got them to the top of the league ? The Lions chances of landing a Western Final in Vancouver are slightly better now, but only slightly. Edmonton and Calgary remain very dangerous. Wes Cates and Darian Durrant for the most part, Crandell had 1 win as a starter out o...

Re: Any interest in Marcus Crandell?

While I think a vet like Crandell may help you guys out, I don't see Wally picking him up. Crandell could at least maybe help ut the guys you got by being another set of eyes and experience for the QBs to fall n. But I suspect his price tag and the fact you guys are a Western opponent doesn't bring ...

read a little more on this and now I understand why Chappy is responsible and deserves blame. Sorry my other post was not based upon that info

Re: Lions playbook stolen in break-in

I am still confused as to how Chappy, the receivers coach, gets the blame for the playbook not being backed up. Would not Dan Dorazio (OC) or Wally (HC) be responsible for this as they are the guys?

Re: Refereeing in the CFL

Apparently Armour claims he was pushed into the official by a Rider. Since this call was only made due to a deliberate act by a Rider to shove a Stamp into an official maybe the Rider should sit the next game out ? Just an idea.... You now have to prove there was intent to shove the player into the...

Re: Refereeing in the CFL

Part of these 'bad calls' go back to the CFL players too. The Lions had a bad call where a Lion (Marsh?) was pushed into the MTL kicker by another MTL player, and the MTL ends up getting a first down. Apparently Armour claims he was pushed into the official by a Rider. Since this call was only made...

Re: Adjusting Expectations

I think what the Leos miss offensively is true leadership. DD provided that, neither JJ o BP has stepped up to do it. BC has all the talent one could ask for but until that leader steps up, I see it as a ship with no captain adrift on the sea. I think the real eye opener Wally needs to be hit with i...
