Fairly impressive pre-season. Alot of the young guys impressed me, Nathan McIver especially. San Jose looked good when we faced them so we have a tough test friday in the season opener

Bernier looked solid in the first game, Anaheim were not their usual physical selves in game 1, but came out flying in game two and dominated. Good tilt between Thornton and Parros :rockin:

Yes it was a bad hit but the only thing I can see wrong with it is the fact that Downie LEAPS at him. He stays on his feet and the hit is clean. Downie stopped skating to glide into McAmmond then jumps up (I still don't understand why players do this as you can take yourself right out of the play t...

Man the Hawks defense owned yesterday!!! Rocky Bernard took out Alex Smith, 3 sacks for Julian Peterson, a forced fumble from Lofa. Hasselbeck played great too.

i agree if glen gets time to do his thing we are in for a tight game like againt sask, last weekend. remember Glenn is going to up for MVP this year right behind Joe Smith, so he is an excellent quarterback. And if you do not have a good quarterback in this league you are in trouble, just ask Calga...

Haha agree. Except McAllum is still a big loss. His range is definitely longer than Anderson's so we might not be in a position to kick as much as we would usually be

Good Read. Cam Wake has been awesome this year, but i like Foley too. When he is rotated into the D-Line he looks good, but as WestCoastJoe said he does lack experience.

He has decent size ( 6-1 217 pounds) which makes him a good blocker. I think that he is underused but i have noticed he has been used a little more recently, so it was nice to see him grab a TD. Hopefully there is more to come.

JJ has earned the start. He played a great game this week against the stamps. The wind will be a factor in Winnipeg and his strong arm will help. Very unselfish from Buck

:rockin: Our offence are taking whatever the opposition will give us. JJ will throw the ball down the field deep. I think we should be able to complete some balls against Winnipeg. The wind will be a factor and I am hoping Paul MCCallum can play. Our defensive line will be key to containing and pre...
