11 carries for 33 yards. Yup, sure looks like the Joe of old.

Re: Report: Lions willing to listen to offers for Joe Smith

I don't understand Wally's dislike for Joe at all. I don't think anybody ever said Wally had any sort of dislike for Joe. If he did he wouldn't have given him the new contract. The only dislike Wally has right now is for the lack of consistent production from the running game and he has what seems ...

Re: Report: Lions willing to listen to offers for Joe Smith

What have you done for me lately, Joe? Lately being this year, not last. As much as I like Joe as a big horse type of RB, he hasn't hit the hole like we've needed him to this year and given us that spark. It seems like the O Line gets a big spark seeing Logan reel off a 34 yard+ run like he did on F...

Report: Lions willing to listen to offers for Joe Smith

Report: Lions willing to listen to offers for Joe Smith TSN.ca Staff 8/10/2008 2:44:55 PM Lions' head coach Wally Buono has made it clear who his starting quarterback will be this week but the future does not appear so clear for running back Joe Smith. According to the Vancouver Province, Jarious J...

Re: A Bone To Pick with the Lions

Hello Adam, Thank you for your e-mail and your feedback on the music during BC Lions home games. In general, we try to choose music that will appeal to a large cross-section of fans. As a season ticket holder, you may have noticed slightly different music choices during our July 18th game versus the...

Re: Jarious Continues To Impress!

J-Jack impresses at times and looks atrocious at others. Until he can play the first quarter like he does the fourth, we could be in for a looooooooooooong season. He can look like the best QB in the CFL and worst QB in the league on the same night, and this seems to be the trend this year. I hope h...

Re: A Bone To Pick with the Lions

Yes, I agree that we need to make sure the fans are quiet on offence, but I think most of you posters are missing the point here. The music at BC Lions games goes beyond the word 'atrocious' and 'embarassing'. It is downright pathetic. I am also a season ticket holder and I am only 24 years old, and...

Re: Lions starting RB on July 18th?

Blitz (or anyone else), is there any chance that Stith remains on the Lions this year and for years to come at the expense of either Jimenez or Murphy? I've just been so impressed with his perfomances so far that I have a hard time believing Wally will take him out of the line-up, even upon Murphy's...

Re: Post-Game Analysis Wanted: Logan, Stith

Wally better keep Stith around, he has been most impressive his first two games. He also has a great attitude and seems like a great team guy to have around. He's a diamond in the rough, really glad to see him on the Lions and playing so well.

Re: Post-Game Analysis Wanted: O-Line

Stith was by far the most impressive player last night for the Lions. I watched him for most of the game and he was fundamentally sound, in-tune with what was happening and just a force out there. I really hope we keep Stith around for years to come. This guy is a keeper!!!

Re: 40.000 for opening night?

I really miss having fireworks in BC Place after a touchdown / field goal. Very satisfying and pisses off the other teams.

Bring back fireworks!!!

Re: 'The Chap Unhappy in the Booth!! (Again)

I think you guys are overreacting. I see Chap wanting to get back on the field as his competitive nature and desire to win more than anything. I don't think this makes him any less of a 'team player'. Count me in as one of the few that is happy to have him back.

Is Gibbs healthy and starting tonight in place of Ty Williams?
