Me neither hutch and I think we can keep most of our defense together. There will be at least a couple of changes on offence but the...

I would still vote for the '85 team but this one would be right there with them. They are always very hard to compare...the '64 Lions were a great team as was the '85 team. I believe this team had the best defense and the most depth of all our Grey Cup champions...comparing them to the eras in whic...

Grey Cup Post Game Thoughts!!
It was a most intriguing Grey Cup game, and perhaps controversial as well, but history only remembers champions! Our B.C. Lions are the 2006 Grey Cup Champions and deserving champions as well. The Grey Cup victory capped off a very successful season and perhaps history will look at this team as our ...

I think Wilson picked up his presence against the run, which is not always a heralded skill for DEs. He just seems to be smarter and more active, and NMLs reps are down as a result. He sure has! Johnson plays the run so well, as do Hunt and Williams!! When you can get good pressure a lot of the tim...

Sir Percival wrote: I think this game has to rank up there with one of the most complete efforts that has been ever put together by a Lions team It was very, very impressive Sir Percival...we did it in every way...out physicalled them, outran them, outpassed them, outsacked them, and turned them ins...

Sammy Greene wrote: Boy did Chaps do his homework for this one. It would have been so easy to build the entire game plan around Simon and utilize him everywhere... like they have done for much of the season. So interesting to see the offensive changes in today's offensive playoff game plan than the ...

was the offence that responded by driving twice and getting 6 points to reextend the lead after the Riders drew close. While the D stepped it up, it really was up to the O to get back the momentum and they sure did to end Rider hopes. They did their part too...no question at that point in the game....

give Rasouli the game ball - the whole line was great, but he has been pretty stalwart this year when bouncing between many positions. I'd give a game ball to every offensive lineman. Dickenson said they were the key to the victory!! They opened huge holes for Smith and protected Dickenson!!! I'd g...

WESTERN FINAL 2006 POST-GAME THOUGHTS
WESTERN FINAL 2006 POST-GAME THOUGHTS A huge, dominating victory by our Leos as we eliminated the Riders and earned a berth at the ?Big Dance? in Winnipeg. The crowd of around 50,000 was a huge factor as the crowd noise really hurt the Riders offence, especially in the first half. I thought this gam...

don't care about Mascots. I would like to see Lions concentrate on the following: 1) Kenton Keith out of the backfield; 2) Special Teams coverage; 3) Getting the ball to Lion82, which hasn't been happening; 4) Having the D come up very, very big. After Nov 12th, then the 19th, we can talk Gainer un...

Once he starts digging tunnels at the border they'll be laughing and he'll be holding up his defense sign in a US court. Gainer smuggling B.C. 'bud'???? We definitely shouldn't allow him into our province...we get enough 'greening' of our city when the Riders play with the invasion of all their fan...

Now what team was it again that some predicted elsewhere to miss the playoffs and started the year 2-3? Well...I'm relieved Sammy that I selected the Leos first in the pre-season poll and commented to that fact..so I get to escape your sharp eye!! I got Calgary and Saskatchewan backwards... but pic...

I want you wonderful ladies to enjoy this thread so this is the only time I will ever post! Women will never be equal to men... until they can walk down the street, with a bald spot on top of their head, a beer in their hand, unshaved, unshowered, wearing yesterday's clothers that they've slept in.....
